Take the GunYou say you love me You say it's true You say you'll love me like I love youTake the Gun
You beg me, plead me Tell me lies I can still take back my last goodbyes
But you don't get it It's not for you You don't cause the things I do
Give me reason Make me see Take this gun away from me
But you can't Because you don't You still believe that I won't
Pull the trigger End it all No matter what I won't withdraw
Because I can't And I won't So keep the last lines that I wrote

| Hmm...well I've always wanted to be a writer. I've been writing since I was in the 3rd grade when we had to write a short story every week. So, I guess I should thank (or blame) my third grade teacher for my love of writing. (Although, for the life of me, I can not remember her name.) I've always been creative when it comes to writing. I have so many ideas but I can never finish one story because another idea always jumps into my mind. That may be my down fall. argh... I owe some of my writing fantabulousness to Lily Allen I listen to her music while I write and it gets my creative juices pumping. She inspires me like crazy. The Alfie video scares the shiz outa me though. 0_0 I'm not the greatest artist but I like to draw and I'm proud of my crappy little masterpieces :3 |
I'm so glad you like it! : ]

The sun will peek into our windows
And be surprised to find empty beds,
Walls naked, our closets stripped of all its threads.
We will awake in a new world.
Our own island. This floating mass. A jagged slab.
Where bulbs burn for us until the end.
I can tell you what I used, if you'd want one for yourself.

I took a tan sock and put it on my hand to figure out where everything was. For the hair I used shiny white fabric ((Real cheap costumey crap I already had)), and cut it into a bunch of little strips, kind of like really long triangles. And since it was synthetic and frayed easily I burned the edges to keep it from fraying. Then I hot glued on all the strips onto the top of the sock.
After that I glued stretchy black fabric around the back of it, starting at about the wrist to make the shirt. Next, I glued the yellow fabric to the front. The strap pieces are just some little strips of black that are glues on. Although for the snaps I used little rhinestones. : ]
Now, the collar and the eyes are the only tricky parts. The collar piece on mine is a strip of yellow that's folded over, but since I have incredibly small wrists, I made it a bit too small. So, it's a bit hard to get on and no one other than me can wear it. XD So you want to make sure that it's loose enough to still slide your hand in before you glue it to the top of the shirt.
The eyes are actually made out of those round push pins. I had to break off half of the sharp part ((Which is really hard to do)), stick what was left through the sock and then glue them in place. Although, I'm sure you could use whatever you wanted for eyes.
I'm sorry it's so long and if it sounds complicated. XD I hope this helps and that you get to make your own puppet. I know I absolutely love mine. : ]

When you come home late, the doll is waiting up for you
And when you fix a snack, the doll says it would like one too
The doll is in your house and in your room and in your bed
The doll is in your eyes and in your arms and in your head
And you are crazy.
