Turning Things into Art

Randomly came to me when watching Benny and Joon (for the 50,000,000th time). I was thinking about photography because someone earlier today had mentioned that "photography isn't art. You're just capturing things on film. Things that already exist."
At the time I said nothing. It was one of those "I really want to say something but I'll get shit later if I do."
But this is what came to me when I was randomly thinking. It's true too. Which only makes it that much more better.
